Home Remedies for Diabetes

Following are some easy and effective home remedies for diabetes:
  1. Chew 10-15 curry leaves daily in an empty stomach. This will be very helpful in controlling the sugar level of blood and urine. Curry leaves are also very beneficial to hereditary diabetic patients.

  2. Take some mango leaves and soak them in water for overnight. Then in morning drink this solution in empty stomach. You can also dry the leaves of mango and make powder of it. Mix one tablespoon of this powder in a glass of water and drink it everyday morning. Mango leaves are very beneficial in treatment of Diabetes.

  3. Take equal quantity of Indian plum (Jamun) and mango juice. Drink this mix juice 3 times a day. It is very beneficial in diabetes treatment.

  4. Take 1-tablespoon ash gourd and 4-5 leaves of sweet potato and mix them in a glass of water and then allow it to boil. After boiling strain the solution and drink this herbal tea anytime of the day. It is very effective in diabetes cure.

  5. Take turmeric, amalaki and fenugreek in equal amount. Now mix them and make fine powder. Every morning, afternoon and evening take this powder with honey. It will helpful in lowering diabetes.

  6. Take some dry amalaki and prepare a fine powder of it. Add this powder in water and keep it for some time. After that filter the solution and add little amount of fresh lemon juice in it. Drink this early in the morning. It is very effective and beneficial in diabetes control.

  7. For controlling diabetes proper diet is very important, so avoid eating starchy foodstuffs because they are not easily digestible. Also avoid sugary foods, coffee, sugar, mutton, excess salt refined flour, bread, rice, heavy meals and alcohol. Take low fat diet and eat vegetables like fruits, milk spinach, and cucumber. Also eat onion, garlic, sprouts and tomatoes they lower the sugar level in the blood.
