- Take one cup lukewarm water and add one-teaspoon salt and one-teaspoon sugar in it. Drink this solution many times in a day. This is most effective Home remedy for diarrhea treatment.
- Buttermilk is another extremely good diarrhea remedy. The acids present in the buttermilk wipe out germs. For quick result, add little bit of salt in buttermilk and drink this buttermilk 3 or 4 times in a day.
- Peel and chop an apple. Now keep that chopped pieces in a plate until they become brown in colour and then eat them. Else one can eat cooked apple daily. The apple has pectin that gives fiber to the stool.
- A very effective and easiest diarrhea remedy is to intake a strong cup of black tea without sugar.
- Eat bananas daily during Diarrhea. Bananas restore potassium levels that are short when you suffer from diarrhea.
- Eat yogurt daily at least 2 times a day during Diarrhea. It is very beneficial in Diarrhea treatment. It restores the bacteria that are destroyed when you take antibiotics.

- Pomegranate Juice is also very beneficial for diarrhea patients, mainly when the patient has become weak due to the loss of body fluids.
- Coconut water is also very hydrating and restorative drink. So drink coconut water daily during diarrhea.
- Eat small and light meals, drink vegetable soups, fruit juices, and avoid spicy foods, chocolates and dairy products like milk.
