Home Remedies for Gout

Some easy and effective home remedies for gout treatment are:
  1. French beans are very useful in treatment of gout. Take out half cup of French beans juice and drink this one or two time daily. It would give a curative effect and also decrease inflammation.

  2. Grind mustard to make powder and add equal amount of wheat powder in it. Now add water in this mixture to make a paste. Apply this paste on the gout affected parts. It is very helpful in gout treatment.

  3. Take one glass of water and squeeze half lemon in it. Take this solution three times daily. As lemon is rich in vitamin C so it helps in softening of gouty dumps.

  4. Drink 4 to 5 litres of fluid daily. It would reduce the attack of gout and also avoid kidney stones from developing.

  5. Make mixture of honey and organic apple cider vinegar. Consume this mixture daily once.

  6. For temporary but instant relive from pain apply ice cubes over the affected area.

  7. Mix one glass water and one glass vinegar and add 1tsp of pepper in it. Apply this solution on the affected joint and keep it for about 3 hours.

  8. Eat 3-4 bananas daily. Bananas are rich in minerals such as phosphorus, so it would react with the uric dumps and consequently eliminate them.

  9. Take half bucket warm water and add two cups of Epsom salt in it. Dip the feet in bucket till the water loses its heat.

  10. Take flannel cloth and dip it in warm castor oil. Now put it over the affected parts. Now wrap it with a plastic and apply heating pads to it.

  11. Regular exercising works well to cure gout. The exercises should focus on the joints like stretching of joints.

  12. Increase vitamin C rich foods in your diet like citrus fruits, green pepper, tomatoes, berries, and green leafy vegetables. Apples, cherries and strawberries are also very effective and beneficial in treatment of gout.
