Home Remedies for Gout |  |
Some easy and effective home remedies for gout treatment are:
- French beans are very useful in treatment of gout. Take out half cup of French beans juice and drink this one or two time daily. It would give a curative effect and also decrease inflammation.
- Grind mustard to make powder and add equal amount of wheat powder in it. Now add water in this mixture to make a paste. Apply this paste on the gout affected parts. It is very helpful in gout treatment.
- Take one glass of water and squeeze half lemon in it. Take this solution three times daily. As lemon is rich in vitamin C so it helps in softening of gouty dumps.
- Drink 4 to 5 litres of fluid daily. It would reduce the attack of gout and also avoid kidney stones from developing.
- Make mixture of honey and organic apple cider vinegar. Consume this mixture daily once.
- For temporary but instant relive from pain apply ice cubes over the affected area.
- Mix one glass water and one glass vinegar and add 1tsp of pepper in it. Apply this solution on the affected joint and keep it for about 3 hours.
- Eat 3-4 bananas daily. Bananas are rich in minerals such as phosphorus, so it would react with the uric dumps and consequently eliminate them.
- Take half bucket warm water and add two cups of Epsom salt in it. Dip the feet in bucket till the water loses its heat.
- Take flannel cloth and dip it in warm castor oil. Now put it over the affected parts. Now wrap it with a plastic and apply heating pads to it.
- Regular exercising works well to cure gout. The exercises should focus on the joints like stretching of joints.
- Increase vitamin C rich foods in your diet like citrus fruits, green pepper, tomatoes, berries, and green leafy vegetables. Apples, cherries and strawberries are also very effective and beneficial in treatment of gout.
